Omar Moonis is the Regional Head of Digital Communications at Citibank,
with responsibilities across 17 international markets. With the mind of an executive and the heart of an entrepreneur, Omar combines his knowledge, passion and dedication in being a leader at Citibank for over 20 years. His journey into banking was paved by an education in the U.S, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Columbia University. When he is not working, Omar’s creative skills take over. He has a flair for writing, a passion for playing the guitar and a talent for turning an ordinary kitchen into a Michelin-star restaurant.
